Project Budget
Build a transparent project budget, allocate funding to costs and keep the remaining cash gap visible.
← All funding toolsKnow what the project costs and what still needs funding.
Charities planning a project with multiple funding sources, pending requests or shared costs.

A practical workflow.
Build the cash budget
Allocate confirmed support
Compare actual spending
Your workbook
- Budget: quantities, unit costs, funding gaps and actuals
- Allocations: requested, confirmed and received support
- Actual Costs: invoice allocations and evidence references
- In Kind: non-cash contributions kept separate
Blue fields are editable inputs. Formula cells and colour flags help with checking; your team reviews the records and decisions.
Your editable documents
- Budget assumptions and approval
- Funding allocation and variance review
Open the HTML documents locally, edit the response boxes and save your copy. They send no data to HumanScope.
Preview the approach. The worked example keeps a pending funding request out of confirmed support, showing the real cash gap. All example figures and organisation names are fictional.
Made to fit the actual grant.
Adapt the templates to your funder’s current requirements and signed agreement. They do not replace its reporting forms or required financial statements. The workbook is not a funder directory and does not submit applications or send deadline reminders.
Use a consistent currency and GST basis. Keep identifiable client information and signed permissions in your organisation’s approved secure storage; use coded references in these files. Shared invoice allocations must be reconciled to the original invoice.
HumanScope does not award grants or guarantee funding. These are original administration templates, without funder endorsement.
