The regional edition brings together community trusts, gaming societies, community foundations, government sources, council routes and additional philanthropic leads. Its 244 records include 57 additions to the previous directory; they are not 244 unique confirmed grantmakers. Use the source links to check the right fund, geographic coverage and application round for your organisation.

Records in this edition
244 funder, round, administrator and research-lead records

This edition is being reviewed progressively. Sources and verification notes distinguish checked listings from research leads. Not every entry, grant route, deadline or workbook feature has been fully verified in Microsoft Excel. Check the funder’s current page before applying.

This is a one-off workbook purchase. Its edition date and directory coverage are shown here; automatic updates and subscriptions are not included.

01

Check the fit

Review eligibility, the funder's current source page and the programme priority before adding work to the pipeline.

02

Prepare ahead

Assign an owner, gather evidence and budget information, draft the application and obtain approval.

03

Record and report

Keep submission receipts, decisions, conditions and reporting dates visible.

Find the right starting point for your region.

Use the Region finder filter to shortlist local records. Also review Nationwide and Venue-specific options. A regional tag helps you search; trust, council, diocese and venue boundaries may be narrower than the region. Entries covering several regions appear under each, linked by a stable Opportunity ID.

What has been checked so far?

The updated file reopened successfully, existing formulas were preserved, and changing an application status updated its summary total. Regional tables, source notes and workbook previews were checked.

Review continues: individual funder accuracy, current eligibility, deadlines and full Microsoft Excel behaviour are being checked progressively. Unverified leads are labelled. This is a dated research resource, not a complete or automatically maintained list of all New Zealand funding.

Dates with a clear status

Published dates, indicative dates, rolling funds, unannounced dates and source conflicts are treated separately. Missing dates stay blank. Council schemes need local round dates, and geographic coverage must be checked for your organisation.

The directory is a dated research snapshot. A funder listing does not mean a grant round is open, and several records may refer to the same funding organisation. It does not claim to include every New Zealand grant or establish your eligibility. Recheck the funder's own page before applying. A zero in the monthly summary means no deadline is recorded in this directory, not that no grants are available.

Optional tailored support

HumanScope can separately research opportunities for your region and programme, adapt the planner, or support agreed applications. A maintained calendar or subscription may be developed later, with a defined update service and price. It is not included in this one-off workbook.
